Why so timid, O Christian
we should be singing
not focused on the here and now
focused on our tomorrows

We stand free
justified in Christ
we should be singing
not focused on the earth

Lift up your eyes from today
let go of your worries
focus on the things of life
on the highest heaven

Christ came to save
to set the captives free
here now walking with us
with you and me

Let go of your cares
bring them unto the Lord
going forth to serve
walking with Christ each day
