The grace of our savior
poured out in his sacrifice
his living and dying
rising from the grave
Half of the story
redemption for believers
but more to do
until the end of the age
The battle still raging
death stalking the earth
sin seeking human hearts
to turn them from God’s grace
Ours as his servants
as children of the living God
to follow Christ’s commandment
to spread the message to all
Our duty holy
the consequence great
redemption for each believer
but only if we believe
More to do in the mean time
while we walk the earth below
before the end of the age
while the battle rages
Bringing more disciples for the Lord
a greater harvest for God
sharing his message of love
bringing more children to him

A New Day, Each Day
Each day, a new day
something new happening
God alive in the world
walking the earth with us
Changing lives, moving people
touching hearts anew
new disciples of Christ
followers joining with us
in the work of restoration
God building up his people
to share the heavenly message
God’s love supreme
his grace boundless
bringing us back to him
New each morning
a new thing already begun
we are to join him
until the battle is won.
