Even when we are distant
questioning the nature of our creator
unable to fathom the world
the suffering of this earth
The words of scripture
even the dialogues of Job
calling us to relationship
a right sense of God
He is beside us
walking on this journey
going with us
even when we reject him
In the Spirit living
beating inside our hearts
reminding us of our creator
and that we are made of dust
Yet because of the savior
his grace with his blood poured down
our cup runneth over
at the end of our days heaven bound
