As we go our ways as we walk all of our days better to give than to receive just as we are told
But in this moment, in this season a changing of our minds the joy of Christmas in the gift we all have received The one gift, Jesus Christ
God, love, born as a child humble, in a manger bed This man, this servant going as the master led even to the cross
Better than any gift we give or we receive On him should be our sights his star guiding our days
Better to receive, Christ into our hearts, to give his message to all; God loves us his arms are open wide to all who accept his gift
