We must never forget
in the rush of this season
who is the babe
laying in the manger bed

Word made flesh,
the man in the Jordan
rising up, a dove falling upon him
walking this earth
God’s love to reveal

Going to the cross,
this babe grown, to dying
rising from death
God’s power revealed
