The season, Advent season
the season of waiting, of hope,
expectancy, longing, remembering
the babe in the manger,
the King, riding on the clouds

The song of angels, the bleat of the lamb
the feet of the Magi, journeying there
The sound of trumpets blast, cymbals and thunder
all a part of the season, Advent season
preparing, expectant, waiting, longing
both the babe and the King
our savior, our brother, our Lord
