Keep awake, your oil ready
watch, for the coming of the Lord
for we know not the time or place
when he will return, to judge, to save
anticipation, expectant, watching, waiting
for that wondrous day, in glory, in praise
with the sounds of thunder, of trumpets
Shouting across the sky
Keep awake, active, working, serving
ready for the coming of that day
the return of the king
