ROBERT BROWNING was born at Camberwell in Surrey, England, in 1812, and educated at the London University. He is also a Fellow of Balloil College, Oxford. At the age of twenty-four, Browning attracted public attention by his poem of "Baracelus." Considering the age of the author, it was a remarkable poem.
