the gift of the Spirit
giving us voices to use
giving us power
People able to hear
in words, tongues they recognized
able to share the message
of Christ’s redemption
saving us from our sin
raising us to glory
sending us forth to serve
in his holy name
Going to the ends of the earth
making his disciples
gathering sheep for the harvest
the coming of the king
