Our common clay
needing to see
to touch the side of Christ
to be free

God’s love on display
in the coming of the Christ
in his going to the cross
and his rising from the dead

An abject lesson
the proof of his love
shining in the darkness
if would open our eyes

God’s light shining
whiter than white
transformed forever
in the brilliance of your sight
