As did the widow
offering her two coins
a metaphor for her true offering
we offer ourselves, our lives
turning what we have
over to your loving care
giving all of ourselves to you
humbly to the Lord

We offer up our lives
our hope only in you
our future secure in this
in Christ’s sacrifice for us
dying that we would live
transformed by your grace
healed of our brokenness
safe within your gates
