The yoke of the cross
sharing with Christ
lifting me up
on wings of the dove

The burden light
if I turn to the Lord
guiding my steps
out into the world

Sharing these words
as they will come
offering hope
to all who will hear

Speaking in words
light to the world
humbly, as salt
the dust of the earth

Hope in our Savior
who took on our sin
from whom we are forgiven
we have nothing to hide

Taking on the cross
lifting us up
sails for our souls
like wings of the dove
