The cross of Christ
what we all carry
a light burden
as if wings of a bird

Lifting us up
guiding our feet
leading us to glory
God to meet

Oh give me voice
to raise up the people
salt of the earth
and a light to the nations

Speak through me
give me words to share
words of love
to let them know you care

Lord, us me
yoked by your side
lead me out there
my light never to hide
