hands of the sacrifice
dying for us

The hands of the carpenter
calling the fishermen
the hands of the potter
guiding our lives

With His Calloused Hands

Not a member of the elite
never sitting, studying in the Temple
working, with his calloused hands
the nets, the water, this was his life

Beginning the church, this foundation
ordinary men, laity, common
spreading the word
the truth of God’s love
to the ends of the earth
