Walking beside him
carrying his yoke
sharing the yoke with Jesus
carrying on his work

The work of salvation
in sharing the good news
ours to do in our time
to be his hands and feet

To walk with our Savior
to carry our cross
to sharing his message
his witnesses in the world

Offering Christ to our neighbors
even strangers that we meet
the flesh and blood of our brother
who knows our suffering

Our hope in Jesus
redeeming our very souls
leading us to glory
just as the scriptures foretold

Sharing the yoke with Jesus
being his voice in the world
seeking justice and healing
sharing his loving word
