Settle in where we are
trusting in God
seeking good, prosperity
for the foreign kingdom
the place of our exile
the place we have been placed
by our sovereign God

Living as servants
turning our lives over
not trying to maintain control
instead trusting in God
seeking good for the foreign kingdom
love for our neighbors, even our enemies
as witnesses to God’s love
