The words of the prophet
for the people
living in exile
at the hand of God

Writing down
the words of the Creator
the One who made the earth
and the stars of heaven

I have caused
My people to be exiled
for their adulterous ways
their turning from Me

Sharing His message
to all the diaspora
that we each would grow
where we have been planted

That we would serve
out in the world
bringing his message of love
to all the people

God’s calling
then as in our time
to be a witness
to the ends of the earth
