God’s judgment
on the whole people
on each one individually
personally responsible
following false prophets
corrupt leaders
bowing to man-made idols
the things of this earth
not to the one true God
Not the fall in the garden
the sins of each heart
these were the indictment
the judgment of God

Ezekiel 8:12
He said to me, "Son of man, have you seen what
the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the darkness,
each at the shrine of his own idol? They say,
'The LORD does not see us; the LORD has forsaken the land.'"
