creator of all
Lord over the universe
almighty and eternal
yet knowing me
right beside me
as I struggle
as I journey
all of my days

Coming to you
though I alone am unworthy
by Christ only
I come near to you
not that you were far from me
but I am far from you
the clay, my dust
so far below you
yet you are mindful
even of me
