Beware of false teachings
promising something for less
omitting part of the story
the scripture, the Christ

His life is the measure
the fullness of God
embodied in him in this life
through him we know God

All others are false teachers
leading us from Christ
setting our feet on another path
that leads away from God

Hold fast to the truth
following the Christ
conform our steps to his path
walking with our master
following the way of the cross
