When we make judgments
when we grumble about his grace
when we do not offer love
when we cast the others out
Are we his followers
the sheep of his flock
if we are to be disciples
we must act as the savior said
Loving our neighbors
being happy when they are saved
all of us unworthy
yet all claimed as children of God
God’s love amazing
his grace poured out on all
each of us saved by the blood
washed clean by the blood of the lamb

Matthew 20:1-16
sermon, "Grumbling about Grace"
by Rev. Frank Gulinello
“Jesus’ parable of the laborers in the vineyard is about
a gracious God whose grace is extraordinarily and
excessively extravagant. Sometimes the
amazing grace of God causes us to grumble because
it seems to be unjust and not fair in our view of the way life should be.”
