Bound with our savior
joined with Christ
into the community of believers
another strand in the cord
the fabric of the church
beginning in the Jordan
when John lowered Christ
into the waters
dying to himself

Joining with him
as his disciples
to do his holy work
spreading the good news of redemption
paid with such an awful costs
God’s love enough
that he would sacrifice his son
by the blood of the lamb we are reconciled
with the father, God,
the three in one
