The young man
unable to move
frozen, paralyzed

Needing Christ’s healing
that only he could offer
coming to him to be restored

His friends selfless, risking so much
climbing the building, the roof,
when the crowd would not move

Bringing him down
from the rooftop
to come before the living God

Their believe sufficient
their faith enough
to heal him utterly

Christ honoring their faith
the man redeemed
made whole
