The friends caring
carrying their brother
paralyzed lame,
wanting to see Jesus

Not accepting
that there was no room
lifting his mat
up onto the roof

Cutting a hole
that there would be an entrance
a way for him
to come before Christ

Carrying him
down into his presence
the Messiah healing him
that he may walk
