A man with few words
but joy in his eyes
now sharing so openly
the things in his life

Even the pain
so close at hand
all part of him,
how he is a good man

His hands to your work
oh father, give him rest
held in your loving arms
only when his work here is done

Leave him with us
as long as you can
we are all so blessed
by knowing this good man
