The disciples angry
the lack of welcome
the Samaritan response
to their request for a place of rest

And yet their anger
at such a small thing
at the very moment
Christ turned to Jerusalem

His sacrifice
compared with their anger
how stark the contrast
what they felt that day

Petty problems
growing too large
when our focus
is turned away from Christ
