The Tapestry of the Song by Raymond A. Foss

The one song of Christ
sung with different voices
over the centuries
across the face of the earth
in diverse languages
singing the song of our savior

The tapestry of the song forming
as each strand is woven
down through the ages
each of us a thread in the whole
together raising our voices
sharing our gifts of the spirit
until the fabric is complete
singing a song of victory
raised ever to God
