When we sorrow
when we rail
the yoke of our walk
our struggles heavy
sometimes seeming unjust
yet God is still with us
walking beside our every step
faithfully offering his peace, his grace
to persevere, to bring us through
to the other side
if we follow the way of Christ

In the Midst of Our Sadness
God finds us
there already with us
sharing our lives
our pain, our struggles
there beside us
in the midst of our sadness
