A commission for the saints
all of his disciples
down to the present age
given by Christ to us

To bring the message
of God’s love
to the ends of the earth
to be the hands and feet of Christ
to go and serve as he did

Given the Spirit
to steel our hearts
giving us voices to speak
telling the world the good news
of Christ and his sacrifice

God’s love for us
more than our sin
his grace more than enough
bringing us home at the end of our days
if we just accept his grace

Prayer of Dedication:
“Abundant God, we thank you for the jars of our lives
that are constantly being filled. We offer our gifts to you,
that others may know of your abundance and grace.
Fill the hungry with good things. Lift up the oppressed.
Watch over the stranger and comfort the lonely.
Through our gifts, may we do likewise.
In the name of Christ the Comforter, we pray. Amen”
