Through the example of Jesus
his words of challenge
our faith much richer
is we were truly guided by love

Not bound by the words only
going beyond them
seeking out the love of Christ
in all we say and do

Offering real love,
not to those who are friends
strangers, those in need
out into the whole world

Welcoming in the others
those we do not know
giving of our whole selves
holding nothing back
