All of his life
for this moment
while praying in the garden
but choosing to sacrifice
conscious of his purpose
that we may be a harvest
redeemed seeds
growing for the Lord

Dying and buried
the seed of the Christ-child
in the ground of Friday
but ready for Sunday
the living savior
up from the grave
he arose
that we may have new life
