deep, layered meaning
Each of them bearing
with the name savior
Each of them marked
the son of the father

Violent revolution
set free by the mob
True reconciliation
requiring the cross

With path man would take
easy if we learn from history
the people straying
turning away from God
only by his sacrifice
the unmerited grace
love finding a way
to reclaim us
from ourselves
