Coming to God
unburdening our hearts
repenting, turning
giving over our sin
leaving it all
at the foot of the cross
While we yet live
turning to our savior
in this we find
the way home to God
Asking forgiveness
form the creator
for our sins
in this mortal life
and in his forgiveness
we are able to forgive others
and even ourselves
of the weight that we carried
too long estranged from God
