A fruitful journey
in the Lenten season
into the center of our faith
the life and love of Christ

Walking with him
as he approached the cross
breathing the dust of the road
hearing the roar of the crowd

Like the disciples
following where he has led
entering the gates of the city
with excitement and dread

Going as they before us
saints of our faith
traveling with our brother the Christ,
going as we are led.
