An opportunity, a challenge in this season of trial Changing the world and our response to one another tragedy so real, the pain, the loss palpable so many people crying out in their loss
Conforming, made ready the low places lifted up so we are called the voices crying in that wilderness
To love our neighbors no longer strangers our brothers, our sisters our children crying out in pain
Lowering our high places so their valleys may be exalted shaving our mountains that their rough places may be made plain
Together with God able to reorder our priorities to reach out, in his name offering our hands, our feet to lift the world up
