with light
piercing the darkness
tyranny, oppression
false truth
falling down

Such was the way of Christ
the way of disciples
following his example
down to this age, Martin
non-violent resistance
in the face of injustice

By love, not by hate
changing our land, the world
light shining, ever,
into the darkness
