Traveling, journeying
going to Bethlehem
because they must
Under the rule of Caesar
the burden of poverty
no room for them in the inn

Taking his family,
into the stable
laying their baby down
in the manger bed
Journeying far,
coming to the town,
his ancestral home

The burden of poverty
weighing him down;
but wonders to behold
the shepherd, the star
the wise men with gifts
laid down, kneeling
by his manger bed
more of the story
yet to unfold
