The story of the Christ
not the fulfillment alone
important lessons of obedient
the power of God
Women, mothers, prophets
faithful daughters of Israel
a central part to play
in the coming of the Son
A priest struck dumb,
not believing in the power of God,
a man choosing to accept his wife,
a couple traveling, in her pregnancy
under the order of the king
In Luke’s telling, the personal decisions
the faith of these women, these men
in the waiting for Christ
