How could they not notice, his star in the night how much like us they must have truly been unable to see, to look up the light of his rising, his birth foretold his star, guiding others from distant lands unseen by the people those close at hand How like our days frantic, moving unending motion in the frenzy of our times lost the peace, the trusting, our lives over to God His star shining into the cold night of winter calling us again to the manger his coming into the world
