our brokenness, our estrangement
lost in a sea, adrift in our independence
trying to make our own way
lost in our stuff, our issues
ignoring the love,
God’s open wide
his grace, his provision
sufficient, abundance overflowing
our cups, our lives rich
a bounty, more than enough
when we turn to the Lord
