Out of our pews, our studies
out onto the street
to share Christ
to be Christ,
claiming the name follower
disciples of the risen one
who came to this earth
who walked among us
so we may have a heavenly rebirth

Out onto the streets
into this wilderness here
reaching our brothers, our sisters
all we should hold dear
Caring for them as the savior taught
going where they are
so that no one is left out
