walking our paths
in an earthen vessel
No longer spirit
of flesh and blood
God descended to be with us
our sin, our shame to heal

Omnipotent, Vulnerable

The omnipotent, vulnerable
divine, incarnate
creator, clay
eternal, infant
the father, a son
Prince of Peace, the humble lamb
the king, a servant
Come to earth, heaven bound
the babe in the manger
He will return, oh so differently
