Into that glade, that glen by the still waters the Lord calling us to rest to sit in the green meadows at the master’s feet
To trust and linger our cares left behind to follow our shepherd in his ways, not mine
Fearing not, as I walk through valleys dark your rod your staff, your hand beside me still
Feasting on the banquet the provision of the Lord oil poured upon me marking me as his own
Goodness and mercy gifts heaped upon me yet God following me to assure my eternal rest
