feeding our hearts, our souls
God’s love, in the words
His words to the disciples, to us still
his lessons for the people
the parables, bread of heaven
in his actions, in his healing
his caring for the people

His sacrifice,
his body, his blood
given for us
to be made free

Rising, in victory
over sin and death
power in the words
the prophecies fulfilled
and his words of love
feeding our hearts, our souls
with God’s love
