Not subtle changes,
we are not able
to move back and forth
radical living, choosing one path or the other
the way of the world
to the victor the spoils;
or the way of the servant
the way of love,
of humbly walking with our neighbor,
yoked to our brother;
to walk in darkness,
or to walk in the light;
By our own will
or the will of God.
