In tongues unknown,
in other tongues they spoke
a single message of hope, of love
of the saving by grace,
the gift of the Christ
the lessons of his life
the proof of the fulfillment
the Messiah come

In other languages
God’s love revealed
a church born
and a world transformed
the message of the Savior
the one who came to earth
the church growing
at its very birth

before your throne to worship You in Spirit and truth. We
pray that your Spirit of illumination would fall upon us
gathered here today so that we may hear your still small
