A little audience participation, the congregation greeting each other “Hi friend”, warm smiles erupting spreading from face to face a glow filling the sanctuary
Maybe to understand the lessons the teaching in the word, maybe instead of neighbor instead of stranger Friend instead picturing ourselves greeting as if each person we meet viewing all as a friend
Being Christ’s friends, sharing his love, abiding in the father with him, in love, in community living in the vine, in fellowship one to another, bound, entwined calling all a friend, perhaps just one we don’t know yet
