This night, especially this night feeling you, Lord sitting beside me in the pew wanting only to take his hand he is beside us, each one walking, leading us his face toward Jerusalem our steps, yoked together leading us to that day the fated day upon the cross leading us still, onward toward the cross, beyond the grave leading us, if we but call his name leading us, to a place in glory Oh, I can feel his hand resting on my shoulder upon my disquiet the balm, the ashes the assurance, with him on this mortal, Lenten journey
