A voice from heaven, after the water,
the purification, the opening of the clouds
a glimpse of heaven
the holy spirit, descending like a dove
came down on him, anointing
A voice from heaven, speaking, words of power
telling the boy, the man, the truth of his life,
“You are the son of God”, the one sent
more still, affirmation, blessing from the father,
“I am very pleased with you.”
A day to change the world.
