The pool filling a bit too slowly
“Let’s play tag, you’re it first!”
so was the solution, for the littlest
Laughing, running, out of her sister’s reach
cackle and dart across the yard
a game for summer
playing two-way tag
running through the clover,
the long, wet grass
in the sun
